Delete your Audkast account

You can delete your account here, or in the Audkast app under Settings → Delete account. Both do the same thing, straight away, and it cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • Your account: email address, password and display name.
  • Every show you created, with its settings, sources and uploaded material.
  • Every episode of those shows: scripts, research and audio files. Their podcast feed links stop working.
  • Your listening history, bookmarks, subscriptions, feedback, topic requests and any problems you reported.
  • The diagnostic events your devices sent.

What is kept

  • Usage records — how many tokens and how much speech an episode consumed — are kept for accounting, with your account removed from them. They contain no content and nothing that identifies you.
  • Episodes already downloaded to a phone stay on that phone until the app is uninstalled or its downloads are cleared.

Delete it now

Forgotten your password? Reset it first, then come back. If you cannot sign in at all, write to mattgrez@gmail.com from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
